October 17, 2025

In partnership with SickFit, a woman-owned and veteran-owned compression sock company, the nonprofit aims to deliver comfort, hope, and healing one pair of socks at a time.

Dianne and Friends Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, has announced the launch of its newest initiative, Warm Feet, Warm Hearts, a heartfelt movement designed to bring comfort, confidence, and compassion to women navigating cancer treatment and recovery.

The initiative was born from founder Dianne’s personal journey through breast cancer, inspired by the kindness and support she received from family, caregivers, and medical professionals during her recovery. Her experience revealed a simple yet powerful truth: healing is not just physical; it is deeply emotional.

At Dianne and Friends Inc., we know healing isn’t just physical; it’s emotional.

That’s why we believe in the power of a beautiful, high-quality pair of socks to add a little comfort, a little style, and a lot of heart to every step. It’s a simple yet often overlooked tool in the journey of recovery.

5,000 Pairs for Cancer Treatment

Through Warm Feet, Warm Hearts, the organization seeks to gift compression socks to women undergoing cancer treatment, starting with a goal of 5,000 pairs across the state of Georgia, with plans to expand the initiative globally.

To bring this vision to life, Dianne and Friends Inc. has partnered with SickFit, a woman-owned and veteran-owned compression sock company whose mission aligns perfectly with their own: to uplift, empower, and walk beside women on their healing journey.

Together, they created The Resilience Sock, featuring the symbol of the pearl—a timeless representation of strength born through pressure and transformation through perseverance. Thoughtfully engineered to reduce swelling, improve circulation, and provide lasting softness, these socks are both functional and deeply symbolic.

The Resilience Sock

"They’re a hug for tired feet, a spark of hope, and a reminder that someone cares. Every pair carries a message that says, you are seen, you are loved, and you are never walking alone."

I’m truly honored to be part of Dianne and Friends. What Dianne created is real, it’s raw, it’s love and its intentional. As a veteran, I’ve seen strength take many forms, but the kind I see in these women humbles me.

At SickFit, we don’t just make socks; we build reminders that you can keep standing, even when life knocks you off your feet temporarily.

A portion of proceeds from The Resilience Sock will support cancer research, awareness initiatives, and innovation in comfort and recovery wear through the American Cancer Society.

“This is bigger than socks,” said Dianne. “It’s about walking with women through their hardest moments and reminding them that love heals in ways medicine alone cannot.”
